Descripción

Dural 340 SL y Dural 340 NS son sistemas de resina epóxica, 100% sólidos, de dos componentes. Ideal para juntas semi-rígidas epóxicas, DURAL SL & NS está disponible en color gris estándar y base neutra, que puede teñirse con Euclid Universal Color Packs, disponible en 33 colores estándar.

DURAL340 cumple con las pautas del Departamento de Agricultura de los Estados Unidos (USDA).

Instrucciones de uso

Preparación de superficie.- La superficie debe estar estructuralmente íntegra, seca, limpia sin polvo, tierra, grasa, aceite, recubrimientos, lechada, y otros contaminantes que pudieran impedir su adhesión correcta. La superficie debe ser abierta con material abrasivo o con chorro de agua a presión. Abra las grietas a por lo menos 6 mm (1/4 de pulgada) de ancho y profundidad. Las juntas cortadas a sierra en concreto y/o asfalto deben quedar lavadas con agua a presión; luego la junta debe secarse con un compresor de aire sin aceite hasta que todos los residuos del corte a sierra han sido retirados de la junta. Las juntas deben estar totalmente secas antes de aplicar el DURAL 340 SL y DURAL 340 NS.

Mezclado.- Premezcle la parte A y la parte B. Combine una parte por volumen del Componente A, a 1 parte por volumen del Componente B y mézclelos completamente con un motor de baja velocidad y aspas para mezclar. Se puede usar un taladro de 1/2 pulgada y un “jiffy mixer”. No los adelgace. Raspe el costado y fondo del recipiente para asegurar que logre una mezcla uniforme y completa. Mezcle durante 2 a 3 minutos. No airee la mezcla. Euclid Universal Color Packs: DURAL 340 SL & NS puede teñirse usando 1 Euclid Universal Color Packs (EUCO Pack) para 4 galones (15.5 litros), 2 Euclid Universal Color Packs (EUCO Pack) para 10 galones (37.85 litros). Se debe mezclar junto con el kit. Revuelva la cantidad adecuada de color dentro de la parte “A” asegurándose que esté totalmente disperso. Aplicación.- Coloque el DURAL 340 SL y DURAL 340 NS en las juntas de control/ construcción por medio de una pistola calafateadora, extrusora a presión u otros métodos de extrusión a baja presión. Coloque el sellador desde la parte inferior hacia la parte superior de la junta para minimizar vacíos o bolsas de aire. Si desea rebozar la junta con más producto, esto se debe hacer antes que el producto alcance fraguado inicial. El exceso se debe rasurar cuando el material ya no se rasgue al pasar la navaja sobre la juta apoyada sobre los hombros de la misma. Cuando se utiliza DURAL 340 como sellador en áreas de tráfico en circuito, comience en el punto más alto y viértalo en la junta cortada a sierra hasta que ha llenado 2 tercios de su profundidad. Permita que el DURAL 340 se asiente alrededor de los alambres. Inmediatamente después, coloque una segunda aplicación hasta llenar la ranura por completo. No lo aplique cuando la temperatura está por debajo de los 10 °C (50 °F). Permita que se cure durante 24 horas a 24 °C (75 °F) o por más tiempo si la temperatura es más baja, antes de abrir el área al tráfico.

Limpieza

Lave las herramientas y equipo con acetona antes de que se endurezca el material.

Precauciones / Limitaciones
  • Almacene a temperaturas entre 10 y 32 °C.
  • No aplicar en hielo o en superficies en congelamiento, cuando las temperaturas sean muy bajas o cuandose espere un descenso de la temperatura dentro de las 24 horas.
  • Proteger de la humedad, no aplicar en exteriores si hay lluvia o pronóstico de lluvia dentro de las 24 horas.
  • No usarse para inmersión constante.
  • No usarse en superficies que estén sujetas a un prolongado y fuerte ataque químico.
  • No adelgace el DURAL 340 SL y DURAL 340 NS.
  • Cure el concreto durante un mínimo de 28 días antes de aplicar estos productos porque el sellador actúa como una barrera de vapor.
  • Euclid Universal Color Packs (EUCO Pack) para 4 galones (15.5 litros), kit 2 Euclid Universal Color Packs (EUCO Pack) para 10 galones (37.85 litros), kit DURAL 340 NS & SL no es estable a los rayos UV. Si la estética es un tema importante, considere usar EUCO QWIKJOINT UVR poliurea.
  • DURAL 340 SL y DURAL 340 NS no debe ser usado en juntas de expansión o para reparar ninguna grieta o junta en movimiento.
