Aditivo líquido acelerante de fraguado y de resistencias para concreto. Contiene cloruros.
Usos
Sikaset® L se utiliza principalmente en la elaboración de concretos cuando se
requiera:
- Obtener concreto con altas resistencias a temprana edad.
- Reducir el tiempo de descimbrado y facilitar el rápido avance de las obras.
Colocar concreto en ambiente frío o efectuar reparaciones rápidas en todo tipo de estructuras, sin acero de refuerzo o con poca cantidad del mismo.
Ventajas
- Reduce los tiempos de descimbrado.
- Confiere resistencias más altas a temprana edad.
- Permite una rápida puesta en uso de las estructuras nuevas.
- Permite una rápida puesta en uso de estructuras reparadas.
- Contrarresta el efecto del frío sobre las resistencias y el fraguado.
- Aumenta los rendimientos en la elaboración de prefabricados.
Modo de Empleo
Agregue Sikaset® L junto con el agua de mezcla durante la preparación del concreto.
Dosificación
De 1,0% a 3,0% del peso del cemento (7,5 a 23,0 ml/kg de cemento), dependiendo del
grado de aceleramiento deseado.
Como guía en el uso de Sikaset® L se puede decir que con una dosificación del 3,0%
se obtienen a 24 horas, resistencias mecánicas equivalentes a las resistencias de 3
días del concreto sin aditivo y a 3 días las resistencias equivalentes a 7 días. Este
efecto puede variar con el tipo del cemento, así como con la temperatura ambiente.

Tipo: aditivo líquido con base de cloruros.
Color: café claro.
Densidad: 1,32 kg/l aprox.
Precauciones
La dosis óptima se debe determinar mediante ensayos con los materiales y las
condiciones de la obra.
El uso de acelerantes exige un rápido y completo curado. Sikaset® L no se debe usar para concreto pretensado o con elementos de aluminio embebidos. Contiene cloruros.
Medidas de Seguridad
En caso de contacto con la piel, lave la zona afectada inmediatamente con abundante
agua y jabón. En caso de contacto con los ojos, lave enseguida con agua abundante
durante 15 minutos y acuda al médico. En caso de ingestión no provoque el vómito y
solicite atención médica. Para mayor información y en caso de derrames consulte la
hoja de seguridad.
Almacenamiento
Dos (2) años en su envase original bien cerrado, bajo techo, en un lugar fresco y seco.
