Es particularmente valioso para pisos que se mojan frecuentemente ya que no se oxida.

Envase / Rendimiento
Surflex se ofrece en sacos de 22.87 kilos. Surflex puede ser aplicado a razón de 2.4 a 9.8 kg/m2. Mientras más alta sea la dosis de aplicación mejor será la resistencia a la abrasión. Instrucciones de uso
Se recomienda al contratista e ingeniero consultar y repasar el boletín de Instrucciones de aplicación de endurecedores de Piso de Regado en Seco (Dry Shake). El documento ofrece instrucciones que detallan la instalación de endurecedores de pisos fabricados por EUCOMEX. Nota: Si el contratista no está familiarizado con las técnicas de aplicación estándar para un endurecedor de piso de regado en seco (Dry Shake), se sugiere coordinar una reunión antes de comenzar la obra para repasar el diseño de mezcla del concreto del proyecto así como detalles especiales de colocación y curado para dicha obra. Además de la información contenida en el boletín mencionado, el contratista debe considerar lo siguiente al instalar SURFLEX. Los productos de regado en seco pigmentados requieren atención especial para obtener uniformidad de color. Si la obra requiere la colocación de SURFLEX de color se deben tomar las siguientes precauciones:
a) Posponer la aplicación del regado lo más posible para lograr el máximo de saturación del color de la superficie de la losa.
b) Aplicar el regado uniformemente y en dos aplicaciones para lograr mayor uniformidad.
c) No pula la última pasada de llana. Se logra una mejor apariencia pasando la llana a mano en el acabado final.
Curado y sellado.- Después de que terminan las operaciones de acabado en la superficie y antes de que sea sujeta a tránsito peatonal, aplique el componente de curado y sellado de acuerdo a las instrucciones de aplicación. Para producir una superficie excepcionalmente durable y resistente al polvo, cure con un componente de curado disipante o removible tales como KUREZ DR VOX o KUEZ R, después selle con EUCO DIAMOND HARD o ULTRASIL Li+.
Limpieza
Lave las herramientas y equipo con agua antes de que se endurezca el material.
Precauciones / Limitaciones
- El uso de SURFLEX en combinación con materiales cementicios suplementarios no es recomendado.
- El concreto para interiores no debe tener aire incluido. Para el concreto de aire incluido de uso exterior, póngase en contacto con EUCOMEX para obtener instrucciones especiales.
- Para obtener una resistencia a la abrasión más alta que la ofrecida por SURFLEX considere el uso de Euco-Plate HD, un endurecedor para pisos de agregado de hierro.
- Los aditivos inclusores de aire pueden complicar las operaciones de acabado. Contacte a EUCOMEX si la aplicación de este producto será en concreto con inclusión de aire de más del 3%.
- Se requiere un curado y sellado adecuado.
- Se requiere suficiente mano de obra para obtener resultados consistentes en grandes lugares.
- Guárdese en un lugar seco.

USE
Emery Tuff is a dry shake floor hardener designed for application to freshly cast horizontal concrete to harden and densify the surface. Applications for Emery Tuff include: industrial plants, foundries, automotive assembly plants, loading docks, smelters, warehouses, service garages, processing plants, generating stations, sewage and water treatment plants, resource recovery plants, paper mills, etc.
