Ultrasil Li+ esta empacado en tambores 208 L (55 gal) y cubetas de 18.9 L (5 gal).

Superficies de concreto poroso y pobre acabado con llana. Estas superficies absorberán más Ultrasil Li+, por lo que el rendimiento será menor: 3.8L (1 galón) de UltraSil Li+, rinde de 23 a 74m2 (250 a 800 pies2) de la superficie. Superficies de concreto densas, con excelente acabado con llana. Estas superficies absorberán menos Ultrasil Li+, por lo que se obtendrá mayor rendimiento: 3.8L (1 galón) de UltraSil Li+, rinde hasta 74m2 (800 pies2) de la superficie, dependiendo de la textura final.

Limpieza

Precauciones/Limitaciones
  •  Proteja UltraSil Li+ de congelamiento. Si esto llegara a suceder, deshiele y agite antes de su uso.
  •  Proteja el metal, vidrio, madera, pintura y ladrillo del contacto con UltraSil Li+. Si se rocía en exceso, lave inmediatamente la superficie con agua.
  •  Si se requiere abrasión en construcciones nuevas, considere el uso de un endurecedor de piso deregado en seco. Consulte las fichas técnicas de SURFLEX, EUCO-PLATEHD o DIAMOND-PLATE.
  • Permita que el producto seque de 4 a 6 horas a 21 °C (70 °F) antes de exponer a tráfico peatonal o lluvia.
  • En todos los casos, consulte la Hoja de Seguridad antes de su uso.

Instrucciones de uso

Preparación de la Superficie (concreto nuevo).- Cura el concreto mediante inundación, de acuerdo con la
norma ASTM C-171, o con un compuesto de curado que cumpla los requerimientos de la norma ASTM C 309.
Se recomienda el compuesto de curado removible de EUCOMEX, Kurez DR VOX. Para maximizar la
resistencia y otras propiedades físicas de la losa de concreto, el concreto nuevo debe curarse durante 7 días
o más antes de la aplicación de UltraSil Li+. Para proyectos en los cuales el tiempo es de vital importancia, el
tiempo de curado podrá reducirse a criterio del ingeniero de proyecto. Si se utiliza un componente de
curado, debe removerse completamente antes de la aplicación del UltraSil Li+. Después de que el método de
curado es removido, permita que la losa seque a temperatura ambiente por un mínimo de 24 horas
antes de la aplicación. Si no se permite el secado adecuado del concreto, se interferirá con
la penetración del UltraSil Li+, reduciendo su efectividad. Preparación de la superficie (concreto existente).-
El concreto debe estar limpio y libre de materiales que puedan evitar la penetración de UltraSil Li+,
tales como compuestos de curado o sellado, pintura, recubrimientos, suciedad/ aceite, grasa, etc. De
ser necesario, utilice EUCO Clean & Strip para remover estos contaminantes antes de aplicar UltraSil Li+.
Aplicación (concreto nuevo o viejo).- La temperatura ambiente durante la aplicación debe ser entre
2 °C y 38 °C (35 °F y 100 °F) para una reacción química adecuada de UltraSil Li+. Aplique una sola capa de
UltraSil Li+, utilizando un aspersor de baja presión equipado con una boquilla de 1.9 L/ min (0.5 galones/ min).
Aplique de forma que se obtenga una capa uniforme sin sedimentos. Mientras UltraSil Li+ se encuentre
húmedo, utilice un cepillo suave o microfibra distribuir el material uniformemente. No continúe con el cepillado
y distribución una vez que el material haya comenzado a secar. Mantenga el piso húmedo con UltraSil Li+
por 5-10 minutos. No permita que el exceso de UltraSil Li+ seque en áreas no deseadas, ya que esto podría
resultar en residuos blanquecinos que deberán ser removidos inmediatamente con cepillo de alambre. Si se
desea una superficie brillante, pula con la rueda pulidora adecuada para obtener el resultado deseado.
Juntas de piso.- Si las juntas de piso serán rellenadas después de la aplicación de UltraSil Li+, éstas deberán
limpiarse antes de la aplicación del sellador. Se recomienda realizar la limpieza de las juntas con una
sierra circular para concreto o rueda de alambre.
