Descripción
Es un sellador elástico de alto desempeño, de un solo componente, con base en poliuretano, cura con la humedad del ambiente, no presenta escurrimiento al momento de aplicar y puede utilizarse para concretos verdes ó húmedos.
Usos
- Diseñado para todo tipo de juntas donde la profundidad máxima del sellador no exceda los 25mm.
- Excelente para juntas con movimiento y juntas de conexión entre marcos de puertas y ventanas, para reparación de grietas en losas y muchas aplicaciones de adhesivos para construcción.
- Adecuado para aplicaciones tanto verticales como horizontales con un amplio rango de temperatura de aplicación.
- Tiene muchas aplicaciones como un adhesivo elástico entre materiales con diferente coeficiente de expansión.
- Puede trabajar bajo inmersión continua una vez que el sellador ha curado de forma total, aplicable en canales y tanques de agua.

Modo de Empleo
Preparación de la superficie:
Limpiar todas las superficies. Las paredes de la junta deben de estar sanas, limpias, libre de escarcha, y libre de aceite y grasa. Residuos de compuesto de curado y cualquier otra material extraño debe ser eliminado completamente. Una superficie rugosa también mejora la adherencia. Instalar antiadherente cinta o cordón de respaldo para evitar la unión en la base de la articulación SikaRod dependiendo del diámetro del ancho de la junta a sellar. El primer no suele ser necesario. La mayoría de los sustratos sólo requieren de primer si la prueba indica una necesidad o donde el sellador se somete a inmersión en agua después del curado. Para aplicaciones en concreto verde las juntas de control deben ser cortados 8 horas antes de la colocación del sellador; las piezas utilizadas para juntas de dilatación deben ser removidos 4 horas antes de la colocación del sellador. Para aplicaciones en concreto húmedo todo el exceso de agua debe ser eliminado y el concreto debe secar después de un mínimo de 60 min previa a la aplicación del sellador.

Aplicación del producto:
Las temperaturas de aplicación recomendadas son de +5° a 35 ° C. Para un mejor rendimiento, Sikaflex-1a + debe ser colocado en el punto medio de la junta de acuerdo a la expansión y contracción de diseño.
Coloque la boquilla de la pistola en el fondo de la junta y llenar toda la junta. Mantenga la boquilla en el sellador, continuar con un flujo constante de sellador anterior a la boquilla para evitar que haya aire atrapado.

Rendimiento
Un (1) cartucho de Sikaflex-1a + en juntas de 1 cm de ancho x 1 cm de profundidad rinde para 3.0 metros lineales.
Resistencia Química
Buena resistencia al agua, ácidos diluidos y álcalis diluidos. Consulte al servicio técnico para obtener datos

Limitaciones
Sikaflex-1a + debe curar al menos una semana en situaciones de inmersión total en agua.
Cuando se recubre con agua, aceite y pinturas a base de caucho, la compatibilidad y la prueba de adhesión es esencial.
El sellador se debe dejar curar durante 7 días antes de recubrir
Evitar la exposición a altos niveles de cloro. (Continua de nivel máximo es de 5 ppm de cloro).
La máxima profundidad de sellador no debe exceder 12mm; profundidad mínima es 6mm.
Máxima expansión y contracción no deben superar el 35% del ancho de la junta promedio.
No curar en presencia de selladores de silicon.
Evitar el contacto con alcohol y otros limpiadores solventes durante el curado.
No aplicar cuando las condiciones de vapor de transmisión de humedad del sustrato existente, ya que esto puede causar burbujeo dentro del sellador.
Cuando se aplica el sellador, evitar que quede aire atrapado.
Dado que el sistema cura con la humedad ambiental, permitir una exposición suficiente al aire.
No utilice en contacto con materiales bituminosos / asfálticos.
En las aplicaciones con concreto verde el sellado de juntas en el concreto pobre ó de baja resistencia de 24 horas después de colado puede afectar la capacidad del sellador para obtener una adhesión adecuada.
En las aplicaciones en concreto húmedo toda el agua estancada debe ser eliminada antes de 60 minutos previa a la aplicación del sellador.
Medidas de Seguridad y desecho de residuos
Provea una ventilación adecuada en las zonas de aplicación. En caso de contacto con la piel lave la zona afectada inmediatamente con agua y jabón, quite inmediatamente la ropa manchada, no dejar secar el producto. En caso de contacto con los ojos lave inmediatamente con agua abundante durante 15 minutos y acuda con prontitud al médico. En caso de ingestión no provoque el vómito y acuda inmediatamente al médico.
Desechar el producto una vez que haya polimerizado/curado en su totalidad, ya que de esta manera el residuo no es peligroso. Consultar la hoja de seguridad. .

Doce (12) meses en lugar fresco y seco, bajo techo en su empaque original sellado.
